The 7th Guards Cherkassy Air Assault Division is a Category I (Category A) Soviet Army division.

A prewar Category I division from the Baltic MD, the 7th AAD was used in Norway where it suffered heavy losses. The division then fought in the Kola peninsula in 1997 until it was withdrawn in June 1998.
